ARCADIA, Calif., Feb. 26, 2008 – StemCyte Inc. today announced that Kenneth J. Giacin, chairman and chief executive officer, will present an overview of the company and its marketed umbilical cord blood stem cell therapies today at the 3rd Annual Stem Cell Summit in New York City.

In addition, the company said Rutgers University’s Wise Young, M.D., Ph.D., a world-renowned spinal cord researcher and StemCyte collaborator, will participate in the presentation. Dr. Young will discuss recent collaborative activities between StemCyte and his laboratory at the W.M. Keck Center in pursuit of novel therapeutics for the treatment of stroke and spinal cord injury.
